Nicole Treatment #3 (Compressed)

I had been told my only option was surgery.  After doing my research I found PelvicSanity.  It was so much more than 'just Kegel.'  My prolapse has resolved and I'm confidently exercising again!

Let our specialists help:

  • Resolve prolapse without surgery

  • Eliminate the feeling of heaviness or 'weight' in the pelvis

  • Determine 'why' the pelvic floor is unable to function properly for lasting relief
  • Resolve associated issues like incontinence, low back pain, painful intercourse, and more.

Whether you've been diagnosed with a uterine prolapse, cystocele, rectocele or another type of prolapse, our team can help!  All of these are due to the muscles of the pelvic floor being unable to properly support the pelvic organs.

Prolapse Treatment

Let us help you resolve your prolapse, naturally and without surgery

Pelvic organ prolapse occurs when the muscles of the pelvic floor are no longer able to fully support the pelvic organs.  This can happen at any age, and in both men and women.  Childbirth is a big risk factor, with about 30% of women experiencing a prolapse after pregnancy.  It can also manifest later in life with pelvic floor dysfunction, and is often linked with chronic constipation.  While prolapse is common, it's definitely not normal and not something you have to live with.

You may notice a sensation of heaviness or pressure in the pelvis, and it may worsen throughout the day.  You may have been told to 'just Kegel,' or that surgery is your only option.  This can definitely be a scary feeling, but you're not alone and things will get better.

Absolutely not!  In fact, oftentimes Kegel exercises are the exact opposite of what will help.  We want to help get to the underlying 'why' of what is going on for true, lasting relief.

We've worked with hundreds of patients to restore normal function to the core and pelvic floor after a prolapse.  Physical therapy that focuses on the entire system - core and pelvic floor - is highly effective in resolving both the prolapse itself and the associated symptoms.

No matter how long it's been, we can help you resolve a prolapse and restore a healthy core and pelvic floor - we'd love to work with you!
